Referencing - help is at hand

New to referencing? Take a look at the Referencing course on WebCT - available via the portal page. All students should have access to this course, please alert a member of library staff if you cannot see it listed. The course takes you through how to reference books, journal articles, websites and many other sorts of materials. Most programmes at Abertay use the Harvard style, but there are also WebCT modules available for legal referencing and APA style (psychology).

Email reminders for students

Students will now receive a courtesy email reminder just before books are due back to the library. Full details are available from the Enquiry Desk.

Laptop clinics

Need help configuring your laptop or just using the wireless network? Our friendly IT staff are on hand. Come to the laptop clinic - it runs every Thursday afternoon, 2-4pm, in IT Cluster 1.

Information Literacy classes

Many of you will have classes scheduled with one of the Academic Librarians. These classes are designed to help you make the most of the library's printed and electronic resources. Classes may be held in the library's Seminar Rooms: Seminar Room A is on level 3 and Seminar Room B is on level 4. They may also be held in the IT Training Suite (level 2), core labs or other locations.
